Top Pubs in Norwich…
Norwich used to be known for having a church for every week of the year and a pub for every day of the year!
Although Norwich unfortunately can no longer boast this fact as pubs are sadly closing, we do still retain a diverse mix of public houses which are the envy of many other cities.
Some popular pubs that have been around for a long time are the Fat Cat, known for its great range of real ales, foreign and fruit beers and ciders. Another also popular for its diverse range of beers and also for its food is the Belgian Monk, locals tend to flock here for mussels and a fruit beer or two!
One of the oldest remaining pubs in Norwich is the Adam & Eve pub on the edge of the city centre near the law courts, references date back to 1249 when it was run by the monks and this pub is still serving ales today.
Norwich is growing and becoming one of the most popular shopping destinations in the UK, with lots of little lanes with boutiques and independent shops all selling different things and with lots of style!
There are also several large department stores including Norwich’s very own Jarrolds store which you will not find anywhere else, John Lewis is also a very popular one amongst the others, all of which are fantastic if you want to go to one store for everything you need from a book to a T-shirt and a toy for your child.
Castle Mall and Chapelfield Shopping Centre are perfect for the serious shoppers with parking and eateries so you needn't go anywhere else…
